1955: Gary and Erik Rocks with partner James Federer of Frontier Plumbing Co. open  Jolly Plumbing & Heating, Inc. at 625 Arrawanna Street. 
1965: In the 10 years Jolly Plumbing & Heating, Inc. grew from two trucks to 15 and was responsible for 25 percent of the plumbing in Colorado Springs. ​
1965-1966: Residential construction slump hit the 100,000-population area. The Rocks'  were convinced that there was a tremendous untapped market not only in bath remodeling, but in simply selling new fixtures and related items. 
1967: The Rocks' opened The Golden Faucet a two-story 12,000 sq. ft. building located at 912 N. Circle Drive was open for business with Jolly Plumbing & Heating, Inc. operating on the garden level.  It was the first showroom in the Rocky Mountain Area in which it combined all of the items needed to build and decorate a bathroom in one shop.

1967: An ad ran in The Gazette.
1970: An ad ran in The SUN. 
1980: Due to the growth of the business Jolly Plumbing & Heating, Inc. built a new office and warehouse directly behind The Golden Faucet at 905 Yuma St.
